About Me…Contact Me

Thank you for visiting my blog!

My hope is that through this writing, I have an avenue to share with my friends, my community and the world at large, my passion for a just, humane and progressive world where every view is welcome at the table.  The views expressed here are entirely my own and do not represent any organization for which I work or with which I am associated.

  1. You are a marvelous writer and spirit soul. I just wanted to let you know that your Letter To Bobby Banas was most excellent and made my day. Happy 2014

  2. I enjoyed meeting you last night, Adam. Your spirit and abilities will be a great asset to our congregation. I look forward to working with you.

  3. Hi Adam.I discovered your blog because a blogger who reblogged your Ferguson post commented on my Ferguson post and I followed the link. So glad I did.

Our blogging is entirely different, but we have quite a few interests in common. I care about all of these issues you’re talking about here. I have a theory that all inequality is related. I have a Feminism project that I collaborate with other bloggers on. I follow the marriage equality struggle and help where I can. I care deeply about racism and economic inequality. I can’t blog about that stuff as much as I’d like, because I’m a pop culture and social media blogger mostly. But I do care. I’m always looking for safe places to talk about those issues, and I share when I think it will do some good.

Publicly, I am a secular person because that’s the easiest way to neutralize the potential for conflict that comes with talking about religion on public media, and I do not support any religious organization. But my values are Christian. I know my Bible (and several other sacred texts). I love talking to people of different faiths and denominations. I’m a believer in Nonviolence with a capital “N.”

  4. Adam, Your presentation and poetry at the Wild Goose FEstival last weekend was inspiring. I look forward to your book!
